Our world is changing fast and dramatically, gearing up for a futuristic, revolutionary shift towards a digital business landscape. Further, with the arrival of ultra-smart technology in addition to a greater emphasis on environmental protection, our planet is getting closer to the Future Cities model than we ever thought.
The picture is becoming crystal-clear. The sustainable cities of the future will be bigger, greener, safer, more connected, and more intertwined with hi-tech. Remarkably, it’s easy to pinpoint the multiple reasons behind the global, dramatic shift towards Future Cities.
We’re seeing the signs right now. More bike lanes in cities all over the world, a renewed emphasis on clean energy, and more accessibility of public transit. Notably, there are NOW many cities across the globe that are providing a window into the future.
Consistent with what has happened since day one, more than 10 years ago, the Annual Investment Meeting AIM is keeping pace with these fast changes. Accordingly, AIM, which has evolved into the world’s number one international investment forum, is now playing a vital role in shaping the cities of the future. But how?
AIM & The Future Cities Pillar
At the 11th edition of the Annual Investment Meeting, the conference is achieving this objective by incorporating the Future Cities Pillar as one of its 6 AIM Pillars, thereby, enabling all stakeholders, including governments and investors, to foster innovation in the urban planning & development arena in a way that replaces traditional services.
Fully aware that cities across the world are seeking to embrace smart solutions to improve the quality of life, AIM 2022 is leveraging the event’s Future Cities Pillar to create a secure environment that gives real value and benefits to all participating providers of such smart city services as Emerging Tech, AI, Sensors, IoT, Cyber Security, Blockchain, Machine Learning, Cloud Transportation, Electric Vehicles, Public Transit, Public Bike-sharing, Rapid Rail Networks, 5G, Utilities, Energy, Solar Power, Smart Lighting, Water / Waste Management, Smart Mobility, and many more.
As for other stakeholders, such as Future Cities Developers, Municipalities, Cities Planning Administrations, Ministers of Infrastructure, AIM is the perfect platform for them to find new sources of funding and financing solutions for their enterprise development and expansion by presenting their projects’ value and competitiveness to investors.
That said, let’s answer an important question: What are the AIM activities/features that give real value and benefits to all stakeholders of the Future Cities Pillar.
