2003 Maan started his career in banking as a senior Equity and Derivatives trader with SABB investment services (HSBC Saudi Arabia ltd.) covering global and domestic equity markets for individual and institutional clients for 5 years. In 2007, Maan joined a large family investment office in Jeddah, where he acted as investment advisor. In 2010, Maan was hired by Citi Private Bank (Dubai) as a Relationship Manager for Ultra High Net Worth individuals (UHNW) covering the Middle East and Turkey region. In his third year Maan relocated to the Bank’s Geneva office to focus on its key UHNW clients in the Gulf. In 2013 Maan joined Coutts & Co. The wealth division of Royal Bank of Scotland Group (RBS) as a Senior Relationship Manager in the Middle East wealth management team with the rank of Director in the Geneva office. Currently Maan is a Partner in VentureSouq a Venture Firm based in MENA with a portfolio of 300 startups in the globally
