With over 14 years of experience in AI, Blockchain and Finance, Baghdad is currently Venture Partner at Antler MENAP, Chief Data Officer at Medad Holding, Chief Product Officer at Al Hail Holding and Board member of XBTO and Allied Investment Partner. Al Hail and Medad Holding portfolio of companies include Zand Bank, Transguard, CBRE MENA, Dalma Mall, AIP, Index Exchange but also various real estate and infrastructure assets. Baghdad lead strategic projects in AI, blockchain and digital assets, driving innovation and creating new opportunities for the group. Previously, he was Head of Data Science and AI at Zand, Data Science and AI Practice Head for a French Consulting firm working with institutions such Google, Booz Allen Hamilton, DU, MAF, Axa, UAE Prime Minister Office, RTA, etc... He also served as an adjunct professor for IE Business School and RIT Dubai, delivering impactful lectures on data science for the MSc program. Additionally, he was appointed as a Google Developer Expert and Google MENA Accelerator Mentor, contributing to the community building and knowledge sharing in AI to the region.
