Gonçalo Terenas is the Head of International & Corporate Business and stockholder at Tuga Innovations Inc in USA, since 2020 Chief Development Officer at HHERF - Human Health Education and Research Foundation in London. He also supports bilateral business between Africa and Europe as Honorary President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Cultural Promotion of Portugal in West Africa (head quarter in Cape Vert). In 2024 assume position as Executive Board Director at RCCPM (International Network of Chambers of Commerce of Portugal around the World), accept the challenge to co-found the independent private business consortium Diaspora Prime Portugal. Born in Lisbon in 1972, Gonçalo Terenas frequented the Law degree of University Moderna, had additional training in the segment of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and International Lobby. Among some other’s skills he also worked in international events and corporate conferences, from Portugal to Brasil, Senegal and others. It was through the major franchising European group that he started to be part of international projects, being a part of ‘Master Franchise da National Business Brokers’ of Sao Paulo(Brasil) and Montevideo (Uruguay), conquering experience and knowledge in international corporate relations and trade. Betwenn 2012 and 2021 settled his main activities in Africa (Dakar & Abidjan) in 2012 where he founded the ‘Senegal Business Cluster’ at that period the reference in the region for bilateral trade and internationalisation. In 2017, endorsed by the Secretary of State for Internationalization and President of AEP (largest Portuguese business association), was proposed to member of Portuguese Diaspora Council, with the High Patronage of the Presidency of the Portuguese Republic. Between several institutional relations, develops and stands out the presence by invitation in bilateral initiatives in Portugal, Senegal and Ivory Coast, organized by many institutions like AICEP, AIP, AEP, CCIP, APIX, MEDS, Etc. In 2017 founded the first editorial magazine focused in economic diplomacy in Portugal being Editor of “ Diplomatic Magazine” until 2020. In 2021 receive the title of Ambassador of Madeira Investment for African markets , a Portuguese group specialized in the empowerment of companies and startup projects. In 2021 integrates the internaional commission of the Senegalese Federation of Badminton. Since 2021 stands as special advisor to the Chairman of ADS Group, Mr Samba Bathily. In 2024 have several corporate presences in international conferences ( Kosovo, Malasya, Abu Dhabi, Maldives)
