HE Fahad Abdulqader Al Qassim is the Director General of the Endowments and Minors Funds Authority (Awqaf Abu Dhabi), where he leads initiatives to promote sustainability, social welfare, and financial inclusion in Abu Dhabi. With a distinguished career spanning finance, investments, and public policy, HE Al Qassim has played a key role in advancing economic diversification and sustainable development in the UAE. HE Al Qassim’s professional journey includes leadership roles at some of the region’s most prominent institutions. Before his current role, he held key positions at ADQ, one of Abu Dhabi’s leading investment holding companies, where he oversaw strategic investments in critical sectors such as healthcare and life sciences. His earlier experience includes executive roles at Emirates NBD Capital and Waha Capital PJSC. Beyond his executive responsibilities, HE Al Qassim holds several board positions. He currently serves as Chairman of Salama Insurance and Chairman of Eshraq Investments PJSC, providing strategic guidance and oversight. Additionally, he is a board member of Aramex PJSC and Etihad Water and Electricity, where he leverages his expertise in governance and strategy to support the growth and sustainability of these organizations. HE Al Qassim holds an Executive Diploma from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, an MBA from Monash University, and a BSc in Applied Computing from Leeds Metropolitan University. Committed to leadership development, he actively participates in programs aimed at fostering the next generation of leaders in the UAE.
