Amro El Fadly is a Senior Partner with EY’s MENA practice, based in the Jeddah office, with over 24 years of experience in Saudi, Egyptian, and international taxation. He is a Certified Public Accountant and an active member of the Arab Tax Society, with a strong commitment to advancing taxation practices both regionally and globally. As the Tax Leader for EY's Real Estate, Hospitality, and Construction sectors, Amro has demonstrated exceptional ability to develop and implement tax strategies in dynamic industries. Amro is a Board Member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Saudi Arabia, where he advocates for collaboration between multinational corporations and regulatory authorities. Amro’s experience spans advising clients across a broad range of sectors, including manufacturing, construction, technology, hospitality, and pharmaceuticals. His expertise includes tax and zakat planning, statutory obligations, and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, helping clients navigate complex tax landscapes and optimize their financial structures. Amro’s professional journey includes working at the EY EMEIA Tax Centre in London, where he contributed to the Tax Performance Advisory Team. His international exposure provided him with in-depth knowledge of tax performance management, the role of technology in tax compliance, and the integration of innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency. In addition to his advisory work, Amro has played a critical role in structuring tax-efficient solutions for mergers, acquisitions, valuations, and due diligence assignments. He has also led numerous Tax & Zakat compliance reviews and risk management initiatives, ensuring clients remain compliant with regulatory frameworks while identifying opportunities for operational growth. His expertise in risk identification and ongoing monitoring has enabled clients to implement sustainable tax strategies. He is the head of the organizing committee of the EY Annual KSA Tax and Zakat Seminar (attended by 1700 participant) , where he moderates discussions on future of tax and key tax topics including green taxes in G20 jurisdictions. This role reflects his commitment to fostering knowledge exchange and providing a platform for thought leadership on evolving tax issues.
