Eng. Zaid Fahed Al-Nsour (MBA, PMP, EFQM, Leadership) General Director, Economic Growth and Employment Program An economic and development expert with over 20 years of experience in leading and managing development and economic programs, implementing and developing national policies and strengthening partnerships with donors, government institutions, private sector entities and civil society organizations. Currently, he leads the Economic Growth and Employment Program, funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development IFAD (United Nations) and the Government of the Netherlands, with a total budget of $35 million, The program aims at enhancing food security, green economy, creating job opportunities and responding to environmental and climate challenges. He has extensive expertise in building strategic partnerships with international organizations such as: • The European Union, • The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), • The German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), • The French Development Agency (AFD), • The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), • The Dutch Government, • The World Bank, • The Islamic Development Bank. Leadership Experience: • Managing large-scale development programs that include strategic planning, administrative and financial supervision, procurement and local/international tenders, monitoring and evaluation, donor reporting, project management and team leadership to achieve sustainable development goals and national strategies related to poverty, unemployment, food security, green economy, water scarcity and climate change adaptation. • Developing economic and productive value chains for development projects to support micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs); especially in the agricultural and food industries. • Enhancing national and international partnerships with government institutions, the private sector and civil society organizations.
