Alban is an expert in international trade and brings extensive experience to initiatives that streamline and enhance global trade systems. He is also a business development strategist with a strong passion in the application of emergent digital technologies to organizational challenges in the public and private sectors across multiple sectors. He has led in the design, development and implementation of complex digital projects in Africa and Asia. Alban is driven to reduce the cost of international business, open new markets for tech entrepreneurs and informal traders, and reduce the carbon footprint of global trade. He has previously collaborated with the World Economic Forum, IOTA Foundation, Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation, UK's Chartered Institute for Exports and International Trade and TradeMark Africa, working on trade facilitation initiatives relating to ports and border reforms, digitalization of trade systems, and trade institutions’ strengthening at national, regional, and continental levels.
