Giovanni Rossi, since September 2024, is the General Manager of Promos Italia, the public Agency of the Italian Chambers of Commerce System for SMEs’ Internationalization and for the Attraction of foreign direct investments. Mr. Rossi has more than 30 years of experience in the financial and banking sector in Italy (ING Direct, CheBanca!,Intesa Sanpaolo), in managing and transforming sales networks, omnichannel distribution, and multi-billion-dollar businesses. With a focus on strategic development, sustainable growth and digital innovation, he has successfully led business turnarounds and the expansion of commercial networks in complex environments, from retail banking to franchising. He has built and managed networks of over 1000 agents and 100 stores, coordinated international teams, and implemented omnichannel models and customer engagement strategies. A pioneer in adopting advanced technologies for managing customer experience, transforming the customer relationship model and optimizing commercial processes. A member of the Steering Committee for the Master’s program in Retail Innovation - GDO, GDS, and Banking - at the University of Parma, he has contributed to the definition of new business models for retail banking, developing innovative strategies applicable to the large distribution sector. Through dynamic, results-oriented leadership, he has transformed traditional commercial structures into high performing and scalable models.
