Jana Boyd is a leader with a background in finance, energy, and disruptive technology. Although based in Dallas, Texas, her work has global reach, fostering collaborations from the US to Asia and building strategic partnerships across North America and the Middle East. Her professional engagements extend beyond the sectors of AI, Quantum Computing, Clean Energy, Green Manufacturing, Hydrogen, SMRs, Nuclear Waste Technologies, Biotech, innovation in materials, and hard-to-abate. Her recent contributions to UNSSC and Clean Energy initiatives earned her recognition from the UN Energy Secretariat and a role in a landmark Sustainable Energy Global Stocktaking Report, presented at the UN General Assembly in April 2024. Jana is a member of the esteemed Expert Groups with the UNECE under the Sustainable Energy Committee, focusing on Resource Management (Mining and Rare Earths), Gases, Industrial Energy Efficiency, and a member of the Hydrogen Task Force. Participant at COP28 and COP29, and other UNFCCC events. As Chief Strategy for Legacy Global Initiative Texas, she leads global efforts in Clean Energy and AI integration. Jana Is a Global Ambassador for Global Council for Responsible AI, representing Texas. She is a Strategic Advisor for GCRAI UAE Chapter and a Global Head GCRAI for MENA region. Her leadership and global economic development efforts have been honored with international awards, including an Honor Medal in Washington DC and Honorable Citizenships from Japan, France, and Russia. Jana has served on international boards and executive committees. She is a member of the WiSER program with Masdar ( UAE), mentoring young women in Energy. Her education Bachelor’s in Economics and Masters in International Relations, Security, and Strategies, Global South. Recipient of the Doctor Honoris Causa PhD and the Excellency in Leadership Awards, she continues her contribution in building global economic and cultural partnerships with a focus on AI- Energy diplomacy.
