Baraka

Feras founded baraka in 2020, driven by a mission to support the financial literacy movement in the GCC. He worked at Standard Chartered Bank and Barclays Wealth and Investment Management and then became managing director of Aurora Partners. After a stint at Wamda Capital, Feras launched baraka and joined the boards of several startups, including the Leap Nation, eyewa, and ChatFood. He spent 15 years as an investor before founding baraka. Feras obtained his B.A. in Political Science and International Relations at Carleton University and studied Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business in the US. Feras' motivation for establishing baraka was driven by a mission to get more people to invest, and build a product that serves as a solution that is beneficial for people of the region to build a passive income and sustainable long term, generational wealth. baraka is a regulated and trusted wealth app that enables you to invest in a diverse range of assets customized to your goals.
