Isa Awachi is a Business Associate at UNIDO-ITPO Bahrain since 2020. He graduated with a Bachelors degree in International Law from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Japan and pursued a Masters in International Human Rights Law at the University of York, focusing on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights. Isa’s passion lies in promoting access to entrepreneurship and economic empowerment to all members of society. Through his work at UNIDO-ITPO Bahrain, he strives to contribute to sustainable development and inclusive growth in the region. In his role at UNIDO-ITPO Bahrain, he works on promoting entrepreneurship as a key driver of economic development and sustainable growth. Through UNIDO’s Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion Program, Isa supports aspiring entrepreneurs by providing them with training, resources, and guidance to help them start and grow their businesses. At UNIDO, Isa plays a role as part of the WEIF Organizing Committee, which organizes the World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum. He supports the team to bring together entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers to foster collaboration and drive economic growth. Entrepreneurship has the power to drive positive change and create opportunities for all members of society. By fostering a culture of innovation and creativity, Isa aims to empower individuals to address pressing social and environmental challenges while also creating economic value.
