Alexander Amartei is an Irish entrepreneur, producer, investor, and CEO of Amartei Industries,. He has won 8 awards, including the Icon Award in Hollywood, and Innovation Award at the Monaco Streaming Film Festival Award alongside James Cameron and Mark Wahlberg. He was just honoured with the Cultural Impact Award in Cannes Film Festival 2024, for pioneering the merging of cultural ties between the Middle East and Hollywood. Alexander is known as a forward thinking tech pioneer, being the producer of-the first major Hollywood Movie in history financed via blockchain. ‘Antara’ is a $50 Million Hollywood epic, and tells the true story of the ancient Arab Worlds’ most famous Knight and Poet, Anatar Ibn Shaddad. He is the owner of Antara Studios, which was established to build the web 3 based Antara Film Franchise, Game, Anime, Manga, Toys, Theatrical Production and Theme Park. The studio was also set up to bring in a large series of international co-productions into the MENA region, to boost the MENA film industry and train the local workforce. He is a keynote speaker, panelist, podcast guest, and has been a governmental advisor on the future of industry as it converges with AI, Web 3, Tokenization, DeFi and Blockchain. He also launched the Arabian Camels Porsche Supercup racing team, which raced in Monaco 2023. This was the first digitally syndicated international Motorsport team in history, funded via Crypto. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Politics and completed the City of London Financial Examinations (Series 7 equivalent) covering Securities, Financial Regulation, Risk and Taxation and, previously ran his own stock brokerage until 2018.
