Andrew Clutz joined Tractus in April 2021 and has over 30 years of experience in economic development with assignments in international trade development and investment attraction. Mr. Clutz has also worked extensively with companies on market entry strategies and location decisions. Andrew’s work in foreign direct investment has assisted governments, investment promotion agencies and special economic zones in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and the Americas. Prior to Tractus, Mr. Clutz served as Director of Corporate Investment & Analytics at Conway Data's Advisory Division, aiding global locations in creating competitive marketing and sales initiatives for FDI attraction. He spent 12 years as Americas Director at Oxford Intelligence, overseeing trade and investment advisory services operations and sales. Mr. Clutz’s expertise encompasses: investment promotion agency development and implementation, asset analysis and competitive analysis, sector strategies, investment promotion strategy and execution, capacity building, export/trade development, and strategic partnerships. Andrew has worked across a variety of industries over the years with a focus on: life sciences, agriculture & food, technology, manufacturing, logistics, and global business services. He has worked on projects in more than 50 countries and regions around the world and managed project teams from multiple nations. Andrew Clutz holds an MBA in International Business from Northeastern University in Boston, and a Bachelor degree in European History from Hobart & William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York. He pursued additional graduate level studies at École Supérieure de Commerce in Reims, France and Concordia University in Montréal, Canada, as well as undergraduate studies in Norway.
