World Smart Sustainable Cities Organization

Committed to the transformation of cities into smart sustainable cities, Ms. Eunbyul Elena Cho establishes smart city partnerships and creates opportunities for implementation of smart city projects worldwide. Ms. Cho is the Head of Program Department at the World Smart Sustainable Cities Organization (WeGO) leading WeGO’s strategic partnerships and planning & supervision of all programs and activities at the WeGO Secretariat including the Seoul Smart City Prize, WeGO-IMD Smart City Index, WeGO Smart City Champions. Ms. Cho has a comprehensive understanding of international development cooperation and multilateral governance. Prior to joining WeGO, Ms. Cho worked at the Ministry of Strategy and Finance (MOSF), managed OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC), Working Party on ODA database and CRS (Creditor Reporting System), supervised the operations of the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) and MOSF’s Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP), and facilitated joint projects between MOSF and the multilateral development banks.
