Chiara is a seasoned investor and operator with over eight years of experience, including six years in private equity focused on software and tech-enabled SMEs. She has closed more than 12 majority investments and held eight board roles, gaining deep operational exposure. Chiara has frequently stepped into hands-on roles—such as interim CFO—where she has led go-to-market strategies, budgeting, strategic planning, and M&A integration efforts. She began her career at J.P. Morgan in London, working in the Leveraged Finance and TMT Investment Banking teams, where she was top-ranked in her analyst class. In 2019, she joined PSG, a mid-market private equity firm specializing in B2B software. At PSG, she invested in 10 horizontal and vertical software companies, held multiple board observer roles, and worked closely with management teams to support their next phase of growth. In 2022, Chiara joined Verdane, where she led transactions and exits and served on boards with executive authority. Her standout achievement was leading the turnaround of a €100M revenue packaging machinery business—overseeing a CEO change and strategic overhaul that grew EBITDA eightfold within a year. Complementing her investor background, Chiara also gained startup experience as interim CFO at Hive, a fast-growing logistics platform, where she built financial infrastructure and supported the leadership team through a period of rapid scale.
