Ozdemir joined Siemens in 2014 as Director of Strategy and Business Development in Turkey, after holding roles at major companies in the U.S., Germany, and Turkey. He became CEO of Siemens Smart Infrastructure in the Middle East Region in 2023, in addition to his role as CEO of Siemens Qatar since 2022. A seasoned management professional with extensive experience in industry, infrastructure, healthcare, and technology, Ozdemir previously worked at AT&T and IMS Consulting Group. As a management consultant, he advised companies such as GSK, Pfizer, and Bayer on digital transformation and market strategies. At Siemens Turkey, he held increasingly senior roles, contributing to a workforce of over 4,500 employees in manufacturing, R&D, and sales. Ozdemir is a strong advocate for leveraging technology to transform industries and protect the planet. His current focus includes integrating technologies such as AI, cybersecurity, 5G, and automation to create value for Siemens' customers. Born in Munich, he holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Boğaziçi University and an MBA from the University of West Georgia.
