Teresa is Managing Partner, Co-Founder and member of the Investment Committee of Astarte Capital Partners and has over 20 years’ experience in structuring, execution and senior management across the spectrum of private equity investments. Astarte is an asset manager focusing on sustainable real assets including infrastructure, natural capital and real estate, managing capital for institutional investors globally. Its portfolio includes one of the largest urban regeneration real estate portfolio in London, UK with c. £2bn GDV, a repeatedly awarded and of the largest impact forestry and carbon credit fund in Latin America with 18 million tons of carbon sequestration and a leading regenerative agriculture fund in Chile and broader Latin America focusing on food security and sustainable land practices. At Astarte, Teresa is primarily responsible for the investment process and portfolio operations within the firm. She is member of the Investment and Management Committee at Astarte and the real estate, forestry and agriculture funds. In 2024 she was nominated Non-Executive Board member of the Athens International Airport, the largest IPO in Greece in the last 15 years. She holds a BSc. in Economics and Finance from the University of Athens, Greece and an MBA from Columbia University in New York. Teresa has been awarded FN100 Women in Finance in 2022, 2023 and 2024 by Financial News, Women of Influence in Private Markets in 2021 by Private Equity International (PEI) and one of the Top Women in Growth Equity and Private Equity of 2020 from Growth Cap. Most recently, Teresa was a speaker at the COP26 in Glasgow and at the COP28 in Dubai and she is also a regular guest speaker at the MBA and the Executive MBA programme at London Business School.
