Giovanna Melfi is a seasoned Business Creative Leader with 30 years of experience in enhancing business efficiency and success. She supports management and financial leaders, collaborating with clients ranging from start-ups to major companies in the FMCG, technology, supply chain, and sports industries. Giovanna has made a significant impact on technology groups, sustainability initiatives, and fashion houses such as Burberry and Gucci. Renowned for translating abstract ideas into tangible results, she empowers business owners to become influential leaders, equipping them with the skills to manage teams and foster thriving environments whilst overseeing smooth transitions and strategic planning. Born in Italy and having lived in various countries, including the UK, Spain, France, Switzerland, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, and Singapore, Giovanna currently resides in Abu Dhabi. She holds a postgraduate diploma in Digital Business from Columbia Business School and executive education certificates from MIT Sloan School of Management and IMD Business School. Her academic background includes a BSc in Political Science and an MSc in International Politics. Passionate about sharing her knowledge, Giovanna has mentored students in programmes at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science & Technology and the City University of Hong Kong. She has also served on the Mentoring Steering Committee of the Asian University for Women Support Foundation. Giovanna additionally serves as an Advisory Board Member for various organisations and as a Non-Executive Director. Recently, she invested in Bedstraw & Madder and became a Limited Partner at Hyperlight Ventures. The 30% Club Hong Kong Chapter recognised Giovanna as a Woman to Watch in 2019 for her role as a Non-Executive Director at FTSE100 companies.
