Mayor John-Charuk Saah Siafa 28th Mayor of the City of Monrovia Mayor John-Charuk Saah Siafa is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader with over 20 years of experience in administration, accounting, sales, and business operations. As the 28th Mayor of Monrovia, he also serves as the statutory Chairman of the Monrovia Consolidated School Board and Liberia’s Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Ambassador. In 2023, he led the JNB-JKK Inaugural Volunteers Cleanup Campaign, mobilizing over 10,000 volunteers to clear 11 million kilograms of waste in Monrovia and Paynesville. Before becoming mayor, he was Head of Business Development & Economic Affairs at the Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Liberia and successfully managed Siafa Group and Premier Service Group. Mayor Siafa holds a Master’s in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the Rome Business School and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from AME University. He is furthering his studies in urban policy at the London School of Economics. A devoted family man, he has been married for 18 years and has five children. He actively serves on boards such as Girls & Development Inc. and the Child Development Academy. With a strong focus on urban transformation, business excellence, and community service, Mayor Siafa is driving Monrovia’s growth and modernization.
