A seasoned leader in the q-commerce industry, with over six years of experience building and scaling darkstore and online grocery businesses across the Middle East. Currently serving as the General Manager of talabat mart Egypt, the country's largest online grocery platform, and has successfully grown the business by over 30X in the past 3.5 years to become the largest darkstore business in delivery hero group across the 70+ countries that it operates in. Prior to this role, played a pivotal role in launching talabat mart in Oman and Egypt and led the business in both UAE and Egypt. Before joining talabat, was one of the early founders of Bulkwhiz, a pioneering online bulk grocery platform in the UAE, where they successfully raised $5 million in Series A funding. With a background in software engineering and a bachelor thesis in AI from Germany, I combine technical expertise with deep operational experience. Earlier in my career, I spent five years at Procter & Gamble, leading various supply chain operations across the GCC, Africa, and the Levant. Driven by innovation and results, passionate about building high-performing teams and driving the future of e-commerce and the tech industry in the region.
