Mr Tanjong Martin MESHONGONG Born on September 5, 1968, in Bambili, Tubah Subdivision North West Region of Cameroon. Mr. Tangoing Martin graduated from primary and secondary school within 1970 and 1985. He earned his first degree in civil engineering within 3 year from 1986 to 1988. His political career began in 1996 as a deputy mayor with the opposition party SDF, serving under three different mayors until 2012. In 2013, he was elected Mayor of Tubah and has served in this role for two mandates. He is very passionate about the environment and combating climate change which has earned him national and international awards. In addition to his political duties, Mayor Meshongong is a businessman and entrepreneur, engaged in cocoa farming, mixed livestock, and Irish potato cultivation.
