Dr Walid Zaher, CMO (MBBS, PhD, MSc, MHPE), is an acclaimed Saudi scientist, medical doctor, and regenerative medicine professional. He has made significant contributions to the healthcare sector across the MENA region, with a proven track record in leadership and innovation. Dr Walid is the Founder of Rewind, a leading wellness & longevity clinic offering omics-based, precision health treatments designed to redefine longevity and elevate well-being. He also founded and served as the CEO of the first Site Management Organization (SMO) in the MENA region, Carexso, and the first Contract Research Organization (CRO) in the UAE, IROS. As Chief Research Officer at G42 Healthcare (now M42 Health), he led groundbreaking research initiatives, including his role as the Global Study Director for the 4Humanity COVID-19 trials and as the Principal Investigator of the Emirati Genome Project. Dr Walid earned his PhD in Regenerative Medicine from Denmark, with a focus on stem cell applications, and completed a visiting research fellowship at Harvard University, where he further honed his expertise in cutting-edge regenerative therapies. He has served as the Director of the King Saud University Research Center and Corporate Director of Research and Innovation at SEHA, driving forward medical research and development in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
