Swethal Kumar is the Managing Director of The Catalyst, a joint venture between Masdar City and bp, is the MENA region’s first clean-tech accelerator and investor, focusing on sustainability, energy, and cleantech. Swethal Kumar, a graduate of the London Business School and a qualified Indian Chartered Accountant, is known for his leadership at Startupscale360 and The Crossroads. He has significantly contributed to various startup ecosystems and mentorship programs. With over 12 years at Mubadala Investment Company, Swethal gained invaluable expertise across sectors and played a key role in founding Hub71, a startup ecosystem funded by the Abu Dhabi government.
