Rodrigo Care is Senior Counsel at Galadari Advocates & Legal Consultants’ Dubai office. With extensive and highly regarded expertise in international arbitration and offshore litigation, Rodrigo focuses on complex disputes across the oil & gas, construction, and financial services sectors, with particular experience in matters involving sovereigns or State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs). Rodrigo conducts his own advocacy and appears as sole or lead advocate before the DIFC Courts (where he is admitted as a Part II practitioner with full rights of audience) and arbitral tribunals worldwide under major institutional rules, including those of the ICC, LCIA, DIAC, SIAC, and UNCITRAL. He also advises employers and principals in high-stakes employment disputes before the DIFC and ADGM Courts, often involving allegations of fraud, embezzlement, or other misconduct. Thanks to his experience as a litigator, Rodrigo has developed a practice advising on the structuring and negotiation of executive employment agreements, compensation and incentive packages for C-suite executives, and industrial relations. His expertise spans both offshore (DIFC Employment Law, ADGM Employment Regulations) and onshore jurisdictions (UAE Labour Law). A member of the panel of arbitrators of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre, Rodrigo also serves as the Chair of the Rome Branch of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA). He is actively involved in the international arbitration community as a Regional Representative of Young ICCA (International Council for Commercial Arbitration) and a member of the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN).
