Uzbekistan's Investment Promotion Agency

Mansurjon Rasulev, Acting Director of the Investment Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade. Born in 1996. Education Mansurjon holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Westminster, UK. He is a PPP professional certified by APMG International. Career in Ministry of Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan From 2018 till 2019 Mansurjon Rasulev served as an Assistant to the Minister of Foreign Trade, providing executive assistance support to the top management of the ministry. Prior to this Mansurjon worked at the National Bank of Uzbekistan as an Assistant to the First Deputy Chairman. Work in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan In 2019-2020 as a Deputy Head of Department of Strategic analysis and planning, Mansurjon initiated and coordinated development of the Strategy for the Development of Agriculture sector of Uzbekistan for 2020-2030, later adopted by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He also led efforts in securing EU's budget support of 40 mln. euros to support sector reforms. USAID Agribusiness Development Activity From 2021 to 2024 he occupied various roles at USAID Agribusiness Development Activity and UN FAO supervising and executing projects in areas of rural development, social inclusion, and digitalization. Foreign Investors Council of Uzbekistan Throughout 2024 Mansurjon worked as a Deputy Head of the Foreign Investors Council's Secretariat under the President of Uzbekistan (EBRD consultant) where he facilitated public-private dialogue between international investors and the Government of Uzbekistan leading to an array of reforms aimed at improving Uzbekistan's investment climate. Appointed in January 2025, Mansurjon Rasulev serves as an Acting Director of the Investment Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade. In his role he coordinates efforts toward attracting FDI in various sectors and improving the investment climate of Uzbekistan.
