Christina Deligianni has 25 years of experience in public policy, sustainable development and the blue economy, spanning numerous industries, geographies and company types, ranging from the European Commission and the Greek Parliament to international organizations, embassies and private companies. Christina currently directs programs and policy at the Institute for Sustainable Development – EPLO, an Intergovernmental Organization with Observer Status to UNGA and an Official Earthshot Prize Nominator. Christina has co-founded and leads Verimpact, an innovative ESG and climate change risk AI-based assessment, strategy and training provider, running three research projects on the blue economy, deep tech and climate change adaptation. She has provided support, to a range of sustainable development and innovation entities, including St John’s Innovation Centre in Cambridge, and the EU Climate Pact as an Ambassador. Christina holds an MA in the Humanities from the University of Chicago where she was a Fulbright Scholar, and a BA in English and Greek from the University of Athens where she was a valedictorian.
