The National Agency for Investment Promotion (ANAPI)

The National Agency for the Promotion of Investments (ANAPI) is a public institution of a technical nature, endowed with legal personality and management autonomy. It is the advisory body of the Central Government and the Provincial Governments in terms of promoting investments and improving the business climate, placed under the supervision of the Minister of State, Minister having the Plan in his attributions.

In accordance with the texts that govern it, namely  Law No. 004/2002 of February 21, 2002 on the Investment Code , and Prime Minister's Decree No. 09/33 of August 8, 2009 on the statutes, organization and operation of ANAPI , the missions assigned to this Agency are as follows:

  • Promotion of the positive image of the Democratic Republic of Congo;
  • Promotion of specific investment opportunities;
  • Advocacy to improve the business climate in the country (after-care);
  • Administrative support for investors who decide to establish or expand their economic activities on the national territory.
