The Kyrgyz Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (KUIE) is a non-profit organization that includes public associations such as business unions, industry associations and represents a wide range of business circles in various sectors of the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic and acts on a voluntary basis.
About 1,000 enterprises in various sectors of the economy are members of the KUIE, and through industry associations that are members of the KUIE, about 10,000 of the most diverse business representatives of Kyrgyzstan and not only fall under the association of the Union.
In its work, the KUIE focuses on the development of the industrial sector, attracting investments in this segment, organizing joint ventures in the Kyrgyz Republic, incl. in the agricultural industry. No less important priorities are the development of tourism, the development of mining deposits, the construction of roads and railways, airports, logistics centers and others. In the medium term, special attention is paid to the development of qualification requirements and training.
The main task of the KUIE is to protect the rights and interests of business and ensure the wide coverage and involvement of all entrepreneurs in the process of forming a sustainable economy and exit and increase recognition at the international level, improve the business, investment climate, stability, development of business conditions in the country, both for national, as well as foreign investors.
Mission: Promoting the progress of the economy by assisting the business community of Kyrgyzstan.
Structure: 4 departments are represented in the structure of the KUIE: international relations, industry and investment, trade, interaction within the framework of the EAEU and the ICIE, 3 departments, 8 committees and 5 representative offices.
Status: KUIE is one of the co-founders and leaders of the Business Council of the Eurasian Economic Union (BC EAEU) and the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. In 2022, the KUIE will chair the EAEU DC.
