The Academy provides training in higher education programs in more than 25 specialties: general
medicine, pediatrics, neurology, anesthesiology, intensive care, therapy, pulmonology, etc.
Specialists are trained at three faculties – medical, pediatric and Postgraduate Education faculty.
The educational process is implemented by departments located in their own buildings of the
academy and at clinical bases – in all medical organizations of the city of Blagoveshchensk. Its
own clinical bases are the Cardiac Surgery Clinic and the Scientific and Practical Medical Center
of the Academy "Family Doctor".
An excellent base for the formation of professional competencies and the development of practical
skills is the Simulation Center, which has a huge technopark of robots, mannequins, interactive
simulators and VR simulators.
Students have the opportunity to study in a family atmosphere with the best teachers and young
scientists, talented doctors at the Institute of Advanced Educational Development "SIMPractica" -
an association of advanced young leaders who demonstrate high performance in our country and
abroad. The Academy has implemented a unique program "From school to rector". The Academy
also has an exclusive #NeuroCHE laboratory, where additional digital skills are developed in
virtual reality. All-Russian consortia have been established with the leading medical universities
of the country and the All-Russian Society for Simulation Training in Russia "ROSOMED", with
medical universities in China, Turkey and other countries.
The Academy has its own scientific base - a central research laboratory, a laboratory of electron
and scanning microscopy, a pathomorphological laboratory, a biochemical laboratory, a PCR
laboratory and an experimental biological clinic (vivarium).
The priority direction of the Academy's development is digital medical care, digital and mental
health of the population, the development of digital services and assistants for doctors and patients.
