Chamber of Commerce for Information and Communication Technologies - MASIT represents the Macedonian ICT industry and promotes and represents the business interests of ICT companies in order to promote and develop the ICT industry and the business environment.

The Chamber represents the companies that work with a wide range of ICT products and services in Macedonia and since its establishment in 2000, as a non-profit and volunteer institution, it provides its member companies with access to information, education, legal advice, cooperation, networking and promotion. at the domestic, regional and international level, all with the aim of promoting and developing the ICT industry.

MASIT cooperates regionally and internationally with other organizations and associations. Regionally, MASIT cooperates with all ICT Associations from the region of SEE (South-Eastern Europe), and is a member of the Balkan and Black Sea Cluster Network. Internationally, MASIT has been a member of the World Information Technology and Services Alliance – WITSA (www.witsa.org) since May 2005. MASIT has excellent cooperation with donor organizations present in the country.

MASIT to enable the growth of the Macedonian ICT business, its recognition and image both in the country and abroad, as well as the advancement of the Macedonian economy and prosperity with a stronger, more organized and progressive ICT industry.

MASIT is the voice and resource of the competitive ICT sector, supporting the innovation-based economy and a key factor for the nation's prosperity.

 

Objectives:

The following goals have been established to achieve the stated vision and mission, to meet the needs and interests of the member companies, as well as to solicit membership in MASIT:

• Public dialogue – to strengthen the recognition of MASIT and its role in the development of ICT legislation, policies and market rules by protecting and representing the interests of the ICT business community.
• Competitiveness – to increase the competitiveness of members through capacity building, fostering innovation, lifelong learning, as well as company certification and human resource qualification.
• Cooperation and networking – to support the cooperation and networking of ICT companies in the country, regionally and internationally through events, projects, partnerships, competitions, recognitions and awards. To build and strengthen the network of MASIT with recognized organizations in the direction of improving the brand of the Macedonian ICT industry, its recognition, image and reputation.
• Export capacities – to support exports through the improvement and promotion of export policies; international branding and positioning; promoting clusters and cooperation; strengthening export capabilities and knowledge; encouraging the quality and excellence of the company with the ultimate goal of establishing Macedonia as a recognizable brand for specialized, high-quality outsourcing services and software products.
• Sustainability – to continuously improve its financial and organizational operations and establish MASIT as a recognized and professional organization, through innovative, effective and efficient management and leadership in order to fulfill its vision and mission.
