Annual Investment Meeting (AIM), the World’s Leading Investment Platform, will hold its 10th edition at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Under the theme ‘Investing for the Future: Shaping Global Investment Strategies’, AIM will gather high-ranking government officials, decision makers, corporate leaders, policy makers, businessmen, regional and international investors, entrepreneurs, leading academics and investment experts to address the global challenges of securing viable investment aimed at contributing to economic growth.

AIM has evolved from assisting emerging economies to attract FDIs. On its 10th edition, AIM will embrace a bigger challenge of enabling economic growth through its five pillars - FDI, Startups, Future Cities, SMEs, Foreign Portfolio Investment, and special event One Belt and One Road.

Future Cities Awards:

As the world is gearing up for a future which will be identified by its smart solutions, the AIM has intelligently incorporated Future Cities as one of its 5 pillars, enabling governments and investors to meet on a common platform together.

Smart city solutions provider will be recognised for their brilliant ideas that are aligned to achieve increased operational efficiency and productivity, sustainability, and economic growth.

Future cities awards will be classified into 5 categories:

  • City of The Future Award
  • The Future Government Award
  • The Most Resilient Cities Award
  • The Future Mobility Award
  • The Smart City Innovator Award


The research for identifying nominees for each categories of Future Cities Awards will be based upon their respective assessments criteria.
