The AIM 2022 comprises many activities and features that work together to achieve the event’s objectives. Under the umbrella of AIM 2022’s 50 Projects Initiative Pillar, the event includes the following sessions and workshops:  

 

Title: Global Leaders Debate: Investments in Sustainable Innovation for a Thriving Future 

Date: 29th March 2022  

Synopsis: The session discusses the prospect of re-engineering the global economy amid the current Digital Revolution.  

 

Title: Accelerating UAE’s Long-Term Development and Economic Initiative 

Date: 29th March 2022  

Synopsis: The UAE leadership had recently announced 50 new projects aimed at boosting the country’s development both domestically and internationally. The series of economic projects being rolled out will bring together all the sectors, both public and private, in leading the country towards developing a unified economic and investment identity. Gaining international status as a major economic hub and creating a competitive business environment is high on the priority list.  

 

Title: Attracting and Retaining International Skilled Workers with New Visas 

Date: 29th March 2022  

Synopsis: In the bid to attract the international market into the country, the launch of new visas aims to target highly skilled individuals, entrepreneurs, business professionals, and investors into the country. Migrant workers will now be permitted to work in the UAE without any sponsorship requirements and visa holders will also be able to sponsor their children and parents.
