The UAE has unveiled Stargate UAE, the world’s largest AI campus outside the U.S., marking a historic leap in global artificial intelligence collaboration and infrastructure.
A Landmark AI Partnership
G42, OpenAI, Oracle, NVIDIA, SoftBank Group, and Cisco have partnered to launch Stargate UAE, a next-generation AI infrastructure cluster in Abu Dhabi. The project forms part of the UAE–U.S. AI Campus, which will provide 5 gigawatts of AI compute capacity and cutting-edge infrastructure to accelerate innovation and global cooperation.
The initiative builds on the new U.S.–UAE AI Acceleration Partnership, announced in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and U.S. President Donald J. Trump.
World-Class AI Infrastructure
Spanning 10 square miles, the AI Campus will run on nuclear, solar, and natural gas power to ensure sustainability. Stargate UAE itself will debut with a 1-gigawatt compute cluster, with the first 200-megawatt phase going live in 2026.
The facility will provide low-latency AI processing, nation-scale compute, and sovereign digital infrastructure, enabling breakthroughs in healthcare, energy, finance, transportation, and education. It will also house a science park to foster talent development and responsible AI innovation.
