Dubai Chamber members post AED 171.9bn in H1 exports and re-exports

04 September 2025

Members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce recorded AED 171.9 billion in combined exports and re-exports during the first half of 2025, reflecting the emirate’s continued role as a regional and global distribution hub. The mid-year performance highlights diversified demand across key corridors, with the GCC and wider Middle East remaining anchor markets alongside growing volumes into Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Europe. The Chamber’s update also points to sustained utilization of trade facilitation tools, logistics connectivity, and market-entry support as drivers of exporters’ resilience amid shifting global conditions.

For businesses, the data signal robust order books heading into the second half and encourage targeted expansion where Dubai’s re-export advantages—multi-modal logistics, efficient customs processes, and proximity to growth markets—translate into speed and cost competitiveness. For policymakers, the outcomes endorse ongoing trade-enablement initiatives and the value of ecosystem services in elevating SME participation in cross-border commerce. Companies should track sector-specific momentum and evolving destination mixes to calibrate pricing, inventory, and risk management for H2.
