Let’s briefly look at the difference between Pre-Seed and Seed Stages.

  • What is the Pre-seed Stage?

Pre-seed funding typically comes before seed funding and is a form of early fundraising. The investor gives the start-up money at this point to help it develop its products.

After you've taken the necessary actions to meet the requirements for pre-seed funding, you can begin the actual funding procedure.

  • What is the Seed Stage?

Seed funding typically serves as the first formal funding round. This is because it involves more formal investments and provides incredible growth after the pre-funding stage.

During seed funding rounds, investors typically want the company in some traction, but pre-seeds mostly precede product development.
