Tapan joined WAVTEQ in 2019 and onboards over a decade of cross functional experience in Information services, Telecommunication , Hospitality industry. • He has a strong track record in closing sales with medium and large corporates and has operated in both India and Middle East markets. • Tapan will be heading the business development and sales of the WAVTEQ and FDI Intelligence suite of research and intelligence tools, as well as being involved in WAVTEQ’s Lead Generation campaigns for our clients based out in the Middle East. • Tapan’s key experience includes:- • Dun & Bradstreet(Indian & ME): Responsible for managing the Business development within the ME region in Risk Management, Data analytics, Market Research, Credit Ratings. • IDEMIA(aka Morpho Group): Responsible for account management & relationship management of large corporates within key regions of India market. • Tapan holds Bachelors degree in Commerce & Master in Business from ICFAI Management Institute in India specializing in International Business.

According to UNCTAD, outsourcing lead generation to the private sector is one of the biggest trends in investment promotion today. At the same time, over half of US companies are planning to outsource site selection to advisors and this is also a prevalent trend in Europe and the Middle East. It is therefore not surprising that the world’s most successful IPAs all have a clear strategy in place for how they engage with private sector intermediaries to promote FDI into their location.

This workshop will provide the latest best practices and evidence on how IPAs and Zones can work with the private sector to generate more investment into their location.
