investment experience. He is a well-known entrepreneur and has founded various financial

Middle East & South East Asia region such as Al Masah Capital Limited, Regulus Capital Limited
and Future Capital Limited, across various industries such as healthcare, education, logistics and
He is the Founder of Regulus Capital Limited (RCL), a management consultancy and advisory firm
providing services to small and medium-sized companies operating in consumer-driven sectors.
He has also founded Future Capital Limited (FCL), a premier Emerging Markets financial services
provider offering asset management, investment advisory, wealth management, custody
solutions, and research services across multiple locations globally; and Al Masah Capital Limited
(AMCL), that, over the last 6 years, has successfully raised more than $1bn.
Throughout his 23+ years of investment and entrepreneurial career, he has executed more than
150 transaction of over $1.7billion, raised in excess of $2.5bn from investors, managed a
cumulative $6bn of AUMs and served on more than 15 boards of prominent private companies.
He has been the entrepreneurial source for identifying business opportunities, turnaround
strategies and securing lucrative investments.
Shailesh has received several awards that are a testimony of his achievements and work attitude

Socially-themed fixed-income has emerged as a sub-set of environmental and sustainable debt finance, which has experienced significant growth in recent years. Social bonds – the ‘S’ in ESG Fixed-Income is seeing a groundswell of interest.
Social debt finance is a relatively small sub-set of ESG, which is in itself a small sub-set of global fixed-income. But it is at a pivot point and is set to grow rapidly as it institutionalises.
The social debt finance session will explore this broad area, breaking it down into its core segments, accounting for its growth, discussing its potential and explaining how it can be scaled up. The latter will discuss deal sourcing and deal structuring.
