Mr. Daniel Lam is the Regional Director, Middle East and Africa of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). In this position, he is responsible for the supervision and implementation of the Council’s activities of promoting Hong Kong in the region. Mr. Lam graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong majoring in Business Administration. He further received his Master of Science degree in Electronic Commerce and Internet Computing from the University of Hong Kong. Mr. Lam held different important positions in the Council’s overseas offices in Japan and Germany in the past. His responsibilities included implementation of the Council’s promotional activities and developing business network in local business communities. Prior to the posting to this region, Mr Lam was in-charge of the sales promotion in Exhibitions Department of HKTDC, developing Hong Kong as the major trade fair capital in Asia.
