AIM Connects with Latin America for 2018 Partnerships

In a recently held roadshow to strengthen the cooperation between Latin America countries and the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM), Director General Walid Farghal met with leaders and officials of different government and private organizations from Brazil, Argentina, and Costa Rica.

During the first leg of the roadshow, an interest for a long-term partnership has been made with the following organizations in Argentina: Globant, Ministry of Production, InvestBA, NXTP Labs, and Argentina Investment and Trade Promotion Agency.

Following the series of meetings in Argentina, AIM also discussed possible partnerships with the following organizations: RENAI, Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Services, Investe Sao Paulo, Agência Paraná de Desenvolvimento, JETRO HQ, Apex Brazil, the Secretary of Planning from the Governor of Paraná and the Mayor of Foz do Iguaçu.

In Sao Paulo, AIM connected with the GridVortex, Federation of Commerce of the State of São Paulo (FecomercioSP), Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP), and the Governor Office - Foreign Affairs Department. A supporting partnership agreement with the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce was also signed. The partnership has been fostered to assist Chamber members find opportunities not just in Arab countries, but also in other countries they would like to venture into.

On the last leg of AIM’s roadshow in Latin America, meetings with the the Ministry of Foreign Trade, PROCOMER, The Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency, and Cie-Tec Incubadora de Empresas were conducted.

Aside from meeting with different organizations, AIM was also represented in the Latin American Investment Conference in Foz do Iguaçu, and the Seedstars Costa Rica.
