AIM Takes Part in the Kyiv International Economic Forum
AIM President Dawood Al Shezawi participated as one of the distinguished speakers in the Kyiv International Economic Forum (KIEF) which was recently held in Ukraine. Along with other stakeholders representing different countries, he discussed about the global challenges of the new economic reality and the new opportunities at the beginning of the Asian century. With the theme “Ukraine and The World in the New Economic Reality”, KIEF is an international conference focused on the future of economic development.
In conjunction with the KIEF, AIM also participated in a roundtable hosted by the Ukrainian Business Association, one of AIM’s Supporting Partners. With the theme “Ukrainian Arab Business Partnership”, the roundtable was participated by several ambassadors of Arab Countries. Also present in the event were Ukraine Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Nataliya Mykolska and Head of Export Promotion of Ukraine Maryana Kahanyak. Also representing UAE were delegates from Oriental Pearls, Selkar Trading, and Harbour Real Estate. The discussion has opened up opportunities for possible partnership between Arab Countries and Ukraine.
In the same event, the Ukrainian Business Association confirmed their partnership for AIM 2018 by signing an MoU. On its second consecutive year, the UBA has come onboard as one of the supporting partners for the upcoming edition of the Annual Investment Meeting. UBA is a non-profit organization aimed at uniting the business community to promotion of transparent and fair way of doing business in Ukraine.
