AIM Conducts Roadshow to Asia
In a roadshow to strengthen the cooperation between Asian Countries and the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM), Director General Walid Farghal met with leaders and officials of different government and private organizations from Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Philippines.
During the meetings, an interest for a long-term partnership has been made with the following organizations: Board of Investment (Thailand), Malaysian Investment Development Authority, InvestKL, Ministry of Trade and Industry (Malaysia), Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal, Association of Southeast Asian Nations, Asosiasi Pengusaha Indonesia, and Freeware Space (Indonesia).
The organization met with various private organizations from Manila, Philippines including the Philippine Board of Investments, Ayala Corporation, Tourism Infrastructure & Enterprise Zone Authority, Megaworld Philippines, Bases Conversion and Development Authority, Philippine Economic Zone Authority.
On a separate trip to Davao, Philippines, the organizing committee also met with the representatives of the following organizations to do a presentation of AIM: Mindanao Development Authority, Davao City Investment Promotion Center, Davao City Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Mindanao Islamic Chamber of Commerce & Industry, TechTalk.ph, and The Moropreneur Inc.
The Annual Investment Meeting will be holding its eighth edition in April 9-11, 2018, with the theme “Linking Developed and Emerging Markets through FDI: Partnerships for Inclusive Growth & Sustainable Development”.
